In Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), players can customize their loadout, including switching the default pistols for each side. For Counter-Terrorists (CTs), the default pistol is often set to the P2000, but many players prefer the USP-S for its silenced shots and precision.
Here’s how to switch from the P2000 to the USP-S:
- Launch CS2: Open Counter-Strike 2 and go to the main menu.
- Navigate to Loadout: Click on the “Inventory” or “Loadout” tab. This is where you can customize your weapon setup.

- Find the CT Pistols Section: Scroll down or look for the section that shows the pistols available for CTs. The P2000 will be displayed as your default pistol if you haven’t made any changes.

- Switch to USP-S: Hover over the P2000 and an option to swap or choose another pistol will appear. Select the USP-S from the available options.

- Loadout has been saved: Once you’ve chosen the USP-S, you are ready to go.
- Join a Match: The next time you play as a Counter-Terrorist, the USP-S will be your default starting pistol.
Switching to the USP-S gives you the advantage of a silencer, making it a quieter and more accurate choice for long-range engagements. Happy gaming!
